After our time spent in Plitvice, our next destination in our programme was Split. We arrived there yesterday during the evening and our first night was spent in relaxing from the trip to come there.

So, in the morning we had a self-service breakfast and after 10 a.m. we started our sightseeing for the next UNESCO's fortune in our road – Diocletian's palace. It was a very interesting time, especially for me, because I was in the company of two of professors from USA – Luciano and Fabricio and with our buddy – Jesus. ;) After that, we went to rest for a little, to be in good mood for the Bačvice beach, where we were watching a few groups of guys who were playing picigin, the popular local sport (search on Internet). We spent a very good time there with all of the following - swimming, walking and jumping from rocks (I wasn't jumping ;) ). The rest of the day was spent on eating a meal in one of the restaurants with affordable prices and a little walking through the center of Split – old part and Riva.

That was quite all about Split, because our next destination is Dubrovnik. Our trip there is starting on Sunday morning by mini bus. So, see you in Dubrovnik with the next blog post!
